Thank you for taking the time to read about some of our Key People.
Nominated Individual & Managing Director
Kevin is a former Naval Officer and Management Executive. Having worked in Military Service, Corporate and Social Enterprise environments, he has accrued extensive experience in people-centred leadership, cross-functional teamwork and in general and operations management.
He has a strong track record in getting things done through people in large organisations, continuous improvement and in implementing, nurturing and growing high-performing teams.
Kevin is an innovator and always aims to leave things better than he finds them. It is his drive for excellence, transformation and strong desire to add tangible value in our community that underpins the exciting vision Kevin has for Kinship Connect. In Kevin’s words:
“ It’s time to prepare for living longer lives and no one should be denied the opportunity to live their life to the fullest extent, nor should they live in fear or isolation in their senior years. I believe we are on the cusp of a radical revision in the way in which we think about and deliver care services in our communities.
It is my positive intention to be at the forefront of solution-based change that gives people choice, keeps people independent, active within and connected to their communities.
Working collaboratively with local medical professionals, commissioning groups, charities, agencies and other service providers, Kinship Connect will address directly the challenges we face in our communities with a particular focus on the widening generation gap and the rural and social isolation being experienced by many”
Area Care and Operations Manager
Gemma has extensive experience of designing, delivering and managing community based services both as a Youth and Community worker and as a Registered Manager, supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Gemma’s approach to care and support is highly person-centred and innovative. She understands that one size does not fit all and works hard to find real solutions in order to improve the lives of others.
Alongside her work in community services, Gemma is also a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, an approach that she uses in all aspects of her life, particularly in managing others and supporting people. The art of NLP enables Gemma to support people to work towards what they want in their lives whilst feeling liberated and free to make the changes they wish to see.
Gemma has a passion for facilitating the improvement of services available to our communities and shaping the culture, which is bred in the environments they are delivered in.
